Data Collection

Color Studio is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to provide core functionality:

What We Collect:

• Browser Language Settings: We detect your browser's language preference to display the interface in English or Spanish. This is considered approximate location data.
• Mouse Clicks and Position: When you manually activate the Color Picker (by clicking the "Picker" button), we temporarily detect mouse clicks and position to capture the exact color you select. This data is processed in real-time and never stored.
• Webpage Content: When you explicitly use the Color Picker or Page Analyzer, we access the CSS styles and colors of the current webpage to extract color information. This access is temporary, only occurs when you activate these features, and no content is stored or transmitted.

What We DO NOT Collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Health information
• Financial or payment information
• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Personal communications (emails, chats)
• Precise geolocation
• Browsing history
• Keystroke logging

Data Storage

All data that you explicitly save (color history, palettes, gradients) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local API. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to any external servers.

You can clear your saved data at any time using the "Clear" buttons in the extension interface.

Third-Party Services

Color Studio includes a donation link to Buy Me a Coffee. This is a standard hyperlink that opens in a new browser tab. No data is shared with this service by the extension itself.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. We do not use your data for creditworthiness assessment or lending purposes.
